Chairman and CEO of Smart Agriculture Institute Indonesia Visited D’TECH Engineering Academy and Workshop.

On July 26, 2024, Professor David Herack (Chairman) and Mr. Eka Simanjuntak (CEO) of the Smart Agriculture Institute Indonesia, accompanied by six students from the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague, visited the D’TECH Engineering Academy and Workshop in Salatiga. They were warmly welcomed by the founder, Mr. Arfi’an Fuadi, and the CEO, Mr. Fajar Budi Laksono.

The objective of the visit was to explore the potential for a partnership between the Smart Agriculture Institute Indonesia and D’TECH Engineering to produce smart technology equipment for agriculture, serving the agricultural businesses and farmers of Indonesia.

The story of D’TECH is truly inspiring. Mr. Fajar shared how the company evolved from a small-scale technology design firm with world-class achievements into a million-dollar technology manufacturing company. This success was driven by a blend of imagination, business intuition, and unwavering courage. Despite the challenges, D’TECH has grown rapidly, continuously improving and learning from their experiences on their journey to becoming one of Indonesia’s leading engineering companies.

D’TECH Engineering specializes in technology product design and manufacturing. To date, they have produced numerous designs and a variety of technology products, such as CNC machines, drones, train seats, motorcycle accessories, and many others. Currently, D’TECH Engineering focuses on meeting domestic market needs.

During the discussions, both parties identified several opportunities for future collaboration.
