Authors: Ing. Michal Wasserbauer, Ph.D., Prof. David Herak, Ph.D.
PT MMW Pangandaran Permaculture, the affiliate of Smart Agriculture Institute Indonesia has signed an MoU with the Faculty of Engineering, Czech University of Life Sciences Prague, to establish a smart independent farm based on Agriculture 4.0 in West Java, Indonesia.
This partnership was formalized in the presence of the President of the Czech Chamber of Commerce and the President of the European Chamber of Commerce, during the recent official visit of the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic, HE Petr Fiala, to Indonesia.
The farm will serve as a living lab equipped with clever technologies using artificial intelligence and will be a part of a modern hub of New Agriculture in Indonesia. The ProLab of the Faculty of Engineering will play a key role in this project, with a focus on AI farming. We believe that this project will contribute to the fifth industrial revolution in Indonesia.
